I had been struggling to find an idea for a posting that could have positive connotations. I, like many other men, have seen our fair share of things that could drive us mad. I wanted to highlight someone that used his efforts for something positive in our lives, years after he left this world.
Alfred Nobel, the man who invented dynamite (and coincidentally made blowing things up somewhat safer), signed his will leaving his fortune to create the Nobel Prize in five categories. (Not Math, you assholes).
I encourage you men to think on this scale. Leave a piece of your work like Nobel and Barrie did to benefit others after your death. It doesn’t matter if it is a book, play, monetary “bequeathment”, or creative work.
I think a piece of your memory should live on. You can drive and help your community. Your name should mean something.
